Howler is amazing! I took him and Maggie out for a quick skijor yesterday and what troopers! They hadn't been out on their own yet, but did really well. Ivy helped us being the "chase" dog, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do!
His biggest "issue" wasn't his eye (or lack of), but his total puppy goofiness! He kept trying to jump on Maggie's head and generally just be a pain in the butt. Maggie is turning out to be Ms. Serious/Calm/Zen dog so Howler is her polar opposite. Thank goodness she is so easy going because she never lashed out at his annoying behaviour!
I took out Louis and Fossey first and they were total superstars! Ivy was really raring to go here so they were extra psyched to go get her. Usually they attack each other and I'm dragged behind a ball of tangled, goofy pups but look at them shine! They're big dogs now! :)
I may be crazy but I can't wait to skijor with all four of these maniacs! :)

Howler just proves that you only need one eye as he managed to spot something on the other side of Maggie. She hardly broke stride when he made a turn without signalling. My big question is for you...do you crave frozen dog slop treats now????
I was pretty proud of them all! Even Howler and Maggie did really well after that little trail diverging, my camera just ran out of batteries. Also, I chalk it up to Ivy not being the best chase dog the second time around, she was confused - another run??! And Howler's goofy/puppy side... I wonder if he'll ever grow out of that?? Like his momma - I DOUBT IT, haha!
I don't really crave any frozen dog slop treats... unless they're low carb!!! :)
Yes, since the pups came along PB,Woody and the others have been no shows on your blog pretty much. Totally understand that but it would be good to see some updates on them.
That's because their lives are BORING compared to these little maniacs! No troubles, just moving slower, getting older... the rest of the gang are easy!
