Since they were so awesome on our last run, I decided to take Woody and Pooh Bear out for the NY Eve run.
Guess which one of the two is slightly traumatized by being stuffed in the car? Woody (lying down paralyzed below) was certain he was being "shipped off to the farm" and not the kind of farm that has goats and pigs and cows. The kind of farm that parents tell their kids they're sending the dog to... but the dogs mysteriously disappear and are never heard from again. PB on the other hand thinks everything is AWESOME!!!
Woody said we're probably going to the farm. YAY!!! I FREAKIN' LOVE FARMS!!! I think.
So we got to the trails and harnessed up the dogs, and got all ready to go...
Ok, where's the farm? Just break it to me already.
And then we went skijoring and he was relieved. Woody and Pooh Bear are turning out to be my SUPA-STARS!!!! Went out with some friends this time and those two were awesome, they are a total riot to ski with. Woody was even quickly becoming the "more serious" of the two, I didn't think that was possible. Well, it does prove that PB is the most focused on FUN and not being serious. At all. Ever.
What? I gotta lighten the load so we can run faster!
But for the most part, they were a perfect little running duo - their gaits matched perfectly, they ran the same speed and worked really great together. PB lacked focus near the end but Woody and I were not surprised.
Post-run Woody, seems to still be a little unsure. He probably thinks the farm visit is AFTER the skijor.
Please... I've been good. PB is the bad one, I think you should send HER to the farm.
Happy 2012 everyone! :)

There is a border c down the street that acts the same way in cars, wonder if it's part of the breed? All the best in the New Year Staci, hope it's not a pain keeping this going for the 4 of us.
LOL JJ!! She is awesome and entertains me to no end. I will tell her a bike is being named after her, maybe she will screech and spin in circles for you!
Not a pain at all RR, just needed a bit of a break I guess. More excited now than ever to keep the blog going. I was reading thru some old posts the other day and peed myself laughing at some of the stuff. And it helps to hear comments knowing that there ARE people out there! :)
I'm reading it too, I must be #5. hehehe! Your dogs crack me up. And I love to see pics of your cabin too, and the snow, and the great wild winderness, and your biking adventures, good stuff! Thanks and Happy New Year! -Cyndy in Oregon
Thanks Cyndy in Oregon! Glad to know there are a few others out there. :)
Me again, what a yap huh. I read the Yukon mag and enjoyed the articles but still prefer this blog Staci so glad to hear you are excited by it again. I certainly understand the need for a break from things. Looking forward to the next entry you make.
Haha! This blog is definitely a lot sillier than the YAM site, but I enjoy both. After starting that, I found that I still needed this blog to release the goofiness and humour!
Well-does that mean I am number 5? Glad you keep the blog going...I love being able to check in on the yahooligans to see what you are all up to!
Woody made me almost pee in my pants with the looks he was giving the camera-and you know I feel about the Pooh Bear(!)
Squishes to the whole crew,
Sue
