Our new crapper!! Or, "outhouse" for you politically correct people. How exciting eh??!
Ray made one heck of a base for it, it's just so.... sturdy.
I guess compared to this monstrosity that we've been using for 6 months,
Anything that feels like it's not going to fly away while you're doing your *thing* is a step up!
He's doing a mighty fine job I must say. I wonder if there is a demand for outhouse diggers/builders? We could make a heck of a team, what with my digging expertise and his construction abilities.... ah, the possibilities are endless...
Don't fall in!! You should see the DOOR!! It's beautiful. It's made from the leftover tongue and groove boards from the loft floor and is stained and ready to go.
And in other totally exciting news (though I'm not sure you can beat the excitement of a new outhouse):
PUPPIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, they're not ours, but Dave and Heather's new sweet bundles of joy!! I just get to visit and maul them and then leave them to poop and squeak all over their new family!!
She is SOOOOO cute.
The night they picked them up from a neighbour and brought them by our place was a night I'll never forget. Dave was excited and giddy and Heather looked shell-shocked as if to say "Oh my god, what have we done?!?!" Ha, we all go through that. Join the club. So they finally entered into the world of sled dogs and now have 6 dogs total! Welcome to the madness!!!!! :)
I love the pose of the little one in front, chest all puffed out, head up high, acting like he's real tough against Ray's leg!!
Just makes you want your own puppies eh?!?!
Happy new mum! She looks like she's gotten over the shock already.
Happy new dad! Who actually looks like it might be sinking in finally... SIX dogs... hey! At least they get a deal at the vet clinic now!! :)

Nice puppy pics there Stacie. I have a question about your crapper...why is Ray doing all the work? just kidding.
That outhouse is looking truly beautiful. Seriously, from the pictures, the wood looks so soft and smooth, you'd NEVER get any slivers off that. (Ouch!)
Cute puppies! Only too glad they're someone else's, though! LOL The crazy blueness of the eyes on some of them - wow!
ARen't my puppies cute Dave?!?! :)
Ray is doing all the work because he knows if I get near a screwdriver or hammer that outhouse will collapse on him. He's smart that way!
Fawn - the wood IS smooth! But I suspect you are being sarcastic... just wait till we get the pretty pink foamboard on it!!!
Puppies puppies puppies!!!! Hooray for puppies. Great pics.
Nice outhouse, too. :)
In my book, puppies beat an outhouse! Especially these puppies. They are just at that age where they simply couldn't be any cuter.
